Dave and Dan, two small town boys from the heart of South Wales met at university where they immediately bonded over a passion for design and all things cycling. As cycling enthusiasts they knew how important oiling and cleaning a bike is for optimum performance, but as distances got longer and bikes got more expensive, they wanted oil that could keep on working, the whole way through a 150 mile ride and didn’t turn the drive train to a black caked-up mess.
With a combined background in the aerospace, automotive and cycling industries, they believed that they could come up with a better solution.
After many late nights in the garage and numerous cups of tea, Slik Lubricants was born and they have never looked back. After testing many different combinations, they came up with their classic all weather lube, a lube that is crystal clear, is kind to your components, doesn’t dry out, and stays on the chain even in the most challenging of conditions.
Since then they’ve expanded their range to cover all aspects of maintaining your bike. All of their other products follow the same ethos, using only the highest grade oils and ingredients so that you get outstanding performance.
